Full Circle

The best part of having Maybe Something Beautiful out in the world is that now it has the potential to inspire others to come together and make something beautiful in their communities.

In April, Isabel, Rafael, and I met in San Diego to share our book and paint a mural together with the incredible community at San Diego Cooperative Charter School, along with our lovely editor, Jeannette, and Stefanie from Full Circle Literary. We brought our book full circle—from the inspiring murals that Rafael and Candice created in their community, to the spark of an idea for a book, to a book, to a mural together.
